For detail informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Aerotek is seeking a Medical Biller for one of our clients in the Albuquerque, NM area.
Job Responsibilities
1. Reviews reports to ensure all accounts are assigned, will add or remove from accounts accordingly. 2. Expedites the placement of medical claims by means of hard copy documents or system assignment through an insurance plan code, a financial class, and/or a vendor agency code. 3. Assists hospital personnel with questions about activity, requests or outstanding issues. 4. Assists hospital personnel in answering patient and/or insurance questions, however, does not interact directly with patient or insurance carrier. 5. Forwarding all incoming correspondence from attorneys and/or insurance carriers 6. Closes accounts back in hospital system when the company returns accounts and ensures accounts with remaining balances are recoded in accordance with hospital collection policies. 7. Provides UB04s, HCFA 1500s (when appropriate), itemized bills, face sheets, account notes as well as other information needed, i.e., medical records, implant invoices, EOBs, etc. ensuring that the company continues to work accounts thoroughly. 8. Interacts in a professional manner with all levels of hospital management, business office staff, and other vendor representatives. 9. Other duties as assigned by Client Resource Manager.
Job Requirements
1. Typing skills â€" 35 wpm or greater 2. High level of communication skills, written and verbal, must be demonstrated 3. Insurance Billing Experience preferred (hospital) 4. Ability to multi task 5. Self Starter 6. Ability to work with minimal supervision 7. Knowledge of or ability to learn hospital billing system 8. Flexibility 9. Dependability
