Position will manage the Metro Division of the Albuquerque District Office and will supervise assigned attorneys and non attorney staff, develop and implement policies and procedures, interact with members of criminal justice system and carry a caseload.
This position is a Pay Band 90.
Classification Description:
General Manager I â" Public Defender
Minimum Qualifications:
Current license as an Attorney issued by the Supreme Court of New Mexico or eligible for a limited license issued by the Supreme Court and six (6) years of experience as a practicing attorney.
Employment Requirements:
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico! Driver's License.
Statutory Requirements:
! Licensure as an attorney by the New Mexico Supreme Court or qualified to apply for the New Mexico public service limited license.
