The position exists to hold DWI, tax, parental responsibility, commercial driver license, fraud, misrepresentation, and any and all other types of hearings assigned by the Chief Hearing Officer. This position is a Pay Band 80.

Classification Description:
Lawyers-Advanced

Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited school of law and five (5) years of experience in the practice of law.

Employment Requirements:
Must be current with all tax reporting/payments. Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must have a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New M! exico; or the ability to obtain a Defensive Driving Course Cer! tification within six (6) months of hire as a condition of continued employment.

Statutory Requirements:
Licensed as an attorney by the Supreme Court of New Mexico or qualified to apply for limited practice license, which requires graduation from an accredited school of law, licensure (in good standing) in another state and sitting for the next eligible State Bar exam.
