Purpose of Position
This position will provide complex legal advice to twelve OSI Businesses as required by each client Bureau's activities. This position will also provide representation in proceedings before the Superintendent of Insurance and independent panels. This position will initiate and finalize rulemakings, and draft legal documents as required by the client bureaus.
This position is a Pay Band 80.

Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited school of law and five (5) years of experience in the practice of law.
Employment Requirements:
Pre-employment background investigati! on is required and is conditional pending results.
Licensed as an attorney by the Supreme Court of New Mexico or qualified to apply for limited practice license, which requires graduation from an accredited school of law, licensure (in good standing) in another state and sitting for the next eligible State Bar exam.
