Description
In this position the candidate will be responsible for coordinating all bankruptcy activity. This will include review of sales contract documents, security agreements and UCC financing statements. You will be filing proofs of claims to p! rotect Matco's security interest in its collateral.
This individual will review bankruptcy schedules for deadlines and coordinate reaffirmations of the debt or surrender of the collateral.
This individual will be working as a liaison between the debtor's attorney and Matco's attorneys.
The successful candidate will organize, manage and track accounts throughout the bankruptcy process including collection follow-up for return of product security.
Qualifications
Comprehensive understanding of Chapter 7 & Chapter XIII bankruptcies
Three years' bankruptcy and collection experience
Exhibit sound judgment in decision making
Excellent PC skills in Word and Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
College degree a plus
