Office Manager – Part-time (24-28 hours per week)
Overview
My CBD client is in the sustainability and natural resource sector advisory, and they are an impact investment project developer with a unique profile and service offering in the market. Their work is multi-disciplinary, spanning applied science, engineering, economics, public policy and investment in the marine, freshwater, agriculture, energy, waste and climate sectors.

Position purpose
The parental leave cover role (12 months) is responsible for providing support to the office, including the executive leadership team, senior management and staff to enable them to achieve their desired impact.
Key accountabilities & deliverables
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Office Manager will:
- Provide management and project support, including:
- assisting executive team;
- arranging travel;
- event management;
- marketing and promotion;
- attending meetings and recording minutes and actions;
- liaising with and managing suppliers and other service providers;
- on-boarding employees and contractors;
- supporting outsourced AP and AR provider and marketing provider;
- supporting project teams; and
- proposal / presentation development;
- Manage the office, including:
- organising and maintaining office supplies;
- liaising with building managers to remedy any building-related matters; and
- providing general support to all staff.
- Work with the COO to improve administrative systems and processes;
- Maintain internal and external relationships and enhancing information sharing; and
- Manage own personal health and safety and take action to deal with workplace hazards, accidents and incidents, ensure own and others’ safety at all times, and comply with relevant safety legislation, policies and procedures.
Personal specifications
- Proven track record of experience and achievement in business and executive support (or similar) roles;
- Excellent relationship management, communication, influencing and interpersonal skills;
- Highly organised;
- Experience using MS Office applications, including Excel and Powerpoint;
- Experience using project management tool Xero Project highly desirable;
- Creative design experience highly desirable;
- Willingness to work in a flexible and dynamic environment.
