SummaryDescription:The General Manager will assist in the opening of a new, professionally branded, QSR located in Albuquerque and shall be responsible for the day--âto--âday management of staff, daily bookkeeping and sales reporting, management and maintenance of inventory, oversight of food preparation, service and fulfillment of the mission and business plan of the ownership.Duties and Responsibilities:Pre OpeningAssist ownership in all aspects of opening the store including but not limited to menu preparation, ordering and receiving of equipment and product, coordinating with various professionals including architects, IT consultants and attorneys.HumanResourcesAssist ownership in hiring, training, retaining and dismissing of all employees. Food Preparation and ServiceAssist ownership in finalizing menus, establishing inventories, and developing service standards and procedures. Financial and AdministrationAlong with ownership, establish budgets, maintain inventories, project income and expense, control income and expense and have the ability to achieve all financial goals of the company Public RelationsMaintain a positive and professional presence in the community and represent the brand with confidence, professionalism and pride.Other Duties as assigned to uphold and foster the mission of the company: As needed the General Manager may be assigned other duties by the ownership. These duties will notbe inconsistent with those listed above and will have the purpose of advancing the mission of the company. Physical/Sensory Requirements of PositionThe General Manager position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk and otherwise be mobile consistent with a restaurant environment. Required sensory activities include talking in person, talking on the telephone, hearing in person and on the telephone and vision for close work in particular the use of computers and a POS System. The General Manager position also requires regular, sometime unpredictable, physical attendance at the restaurant or remote locations such as an off--âsite catering or an off--âsite office. The General Manager position may require lifting/carrying, stooping, crawling or similar activities on occasion. Minimum education: Associates Degree Restaurant management expertise (minimum 2 yearsmanagement experience) Strong verbal skills Computer literate (Excel, Quicken, Word and others) Strong interpersonal skills Goal oriented
