Job Duties:
What You'll Do
Conduct open- and closed-source research on emerging technologies relating to identity authentication and verification
Identify and collaborate with subject-matter experts
Analyze impact and ! assess risk to government operations and systems
Identify and attend appropriate trade shows, conferences, and other forums
Produce written assessments and descriptive graphics using Adobe desktop publishing software
Coordinate with other team members on assessments and deliverables
Prepare and present briefings, attend working groups, or provide training as requested by client government organizations
Manage workload and time to meet firm production deadlines

What You'll Need
High school diploma plus 5 or more years related experience.
A Bachelorâs degree in technical or biological science, engineering, security, or math is preferred.
Alternatively, a degree in any field is acceptable if accompanied by a certification in biometrics or physical security.
Candidates should have five or more years of experience in threat analysis or ! risk assessment.
Excellent writing skills are essential to the! position.
Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, produce concise analytical reports from multiple sources based on independent research, and generate products in final form that are free of grammatical and other editing errors.
Providing examples of authored products, papers, or reports is a plus.
Candidates must be able to function effectively as part of a team, working in a collaborative environment with other analysts to reduce analytical bias and improve the comprehensive scope of deliverables.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills, know how to judge the relative credibility of source information, and be able to generate educated assessments based on incomplete information.
Proficiency in all-source research is expected.
Applicants should be knowledgeable of advanced open-source research techniques and
use of intelligence sources and reportin! g.
Applicants should be at least
familiar with use of
commercial data services, use of government data sources and search engines, competitive
market research, and technical
academic research.
Good people skills are important.
Candidates will be expected to attend trade shows and conferences, interact with other attendees, and develop a network of analytical peers and subject matter experts.
Applicants should be able to travel; most travel is of short duration (one week or less) and may include overseas locations.
Each higher level degree (i.e., Master's degree) may substitute for two years of experience.
In addition to the experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered. Advanced Technical Intelligence Certificate (ATIC) ! can be substituted for one year of experience

Experience working with classified information systems in a secure office environment
Previous analytical work experience in a DoD or IC environment
Security Clearance:
Most positions require candidate to have a current favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Some positions will require completion of a polygraph examination. * U.S. Citizenship Required.
