Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for processing applications for new licenses, transfers of existing liquor licenses and leases of liquor licenses as well as reviewing applications including complex legal documents for accuracy or deficiencies, conducting hearings, preparing required documents and interacting with applicants on a daily basis to assist customers with inquiries.
This position is a Pay Band 70
Classification Description:
Administrative Law Judges, Adjudicator-Operational
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Social Services or Labor Relations and four (4) years of experience in conducting admini! strative hearings, employment placement, claims adjudication a! nd/or investigations. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
