This position will conduct administrative hearings on behalf of the State Personnel Board concerning disciplinary actions by state agencies against state employees. The Adjudication Bureau Chief determines whether the state agency's disciplinary actions meet the requirements of Just Cause as defined in State Personnel board rules and regulations contained in the New Mexico Administrative Code.

This position is a Pay Band 80.

Classification Description:
Administrative Law Judges, Adjudicator-Advanced

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Deg! ree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Admi! nistration, Social Services or Labor Relations and six (6) years of experience in conducting administrative hearings, employment placement, claims adjudication and/or investigations. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
