The Relationship Associate III is responsible for working directly with The Private Bank officers and high net worth clients across several delivery platforms! , including banking, trust, brokerage and investment management. This position may have a focus on one of the four disciplines listed above, depending on company needs. This position partners with the Private Banker, Trust Officer or Client Advisor and is focused on delivering superior client service; works under limited supervision. Responsibilities:
Interacts with clients, investment managers, attorneys, brokers and accountants via telephone, written communications or meetings regarding problem resolution and/or account maintenance; serves as liaison between operational and support areas and customer; performs research and communicates resolution of problem to customer; resolves questions and problems presented by clients concerning transactions in their accounts and day to day operational issues.
Interacts daily with internal and external contacts to ensure that all account activity such as account opening and closing, payments to and from clients and requests fr! om clients are processed timely; loan advances, deposits, dist! ributions, wire transfer, loan bookings, DDA transfer and receipts are processed timely; ensures adequate cash positions in investment, brokerage and trust accounts.
Assists in the performance of complex administrative activities, which may include Regulation 9 reviews, account distributions, court inventories and accountings, preparation of loan documents and account exception clearing.
Assists Private Bank officers in developing new brokerage, money management, lending and depository business with existing or prospective customers, including preparation of advanced presentation packages for investment management, brokerage and bank product presentations.
Prepares documents for management review and reporting, which may include new product proposals, sales presentations, new business reports and client performance reports. Qualifications:
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelors degree or 5+ years of experience. FINRA Series 7, 63, 6! 5, 66 securities licenses may be required.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of brokered and managed investments, securities movement and trust operations
Extensive knowledge and understanding of lending practices and policies, loan documentation requirements and regulations
Extensive knowledge of deposit, loan and investment systems, report generation and information gathering
Excellent customer relations skills focused on delivering superior service quality
Excellent PC skills, including spreadsheet and word processing applications and proprietary applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
