SL-100 Technician

Verigent , a nationwide Telecom and IT Staffing firm, has an opening in Cannon Air Force Base, NM for an experienced SL-100 Technician.
This is a long term, 1 to 5 year project opportunity. If selected, you will work as a Verigent employee on contract to our client.
Job Description:
- Performs daily duties in support of the SL-100 systems
- Performs alarm monitoring, switch maintenance, and switch trouble isolation and repair
- Perform/complete all routine and emergency troubles monitor and respond to all alarms
- Manage all required Preventive Maintenance to include issuance of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
- Review reports for potential service effecting trends, identify discrepancies and provide a plan for corrective action
- Attend required customer meetings
- Represents the company to the customer and other vendors
- Interfaces with site manager and customer management to ensure Customer satisfaction on assigned equipment
- Provides assistance to less experienced Technicians
- May be required to be available via telephone or beeper or work overtime to complete assignments
- SL-100 Operations and Maintenance Certified
- Customer Orientation - Personally follows through on customer inquiries and requests
- Takes personal responsibility for correcting customer service problems
- Corrects problems promptly. Demonstrates responsiveness
- Judgment - Judges situations rationally, taking into account the necessary facts, information, and company policies/guidelines
- Organizing Work - Plans and controls own routine work on a day-to-day basis to achieve objectives
- Demonstrates punctuality and efficient work habits
- Able to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in troubleshooting both software and hardware using various test equipment, including PCs
- Must be self-managed, accountable and motivated
- Good customer relations, communications skills, and leadership skills
- Minimum 2-year professional/technical college degree or 5 years experience
- Prefer 4-year college degree in a technical/functional field
- 5 years experience with the SL100
- VoIP/SIP experience a plus
