Matura Farrington Staffing Services Inc. is currently seeking candidates for an Asbestos / Toxic Tort Litigation Paralegal for a mid-sized branch of a! n national law firm. This temp to hire Asbestos / Toxic Tort Litigation Paralegal will have heavy trial prep and strong database experience. This is a great opportunity to work for a great firm with low turn over. Asbestos or Toxic Tort litigation is an absolute requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities â€" Asbestos / Toxic Tort Litigation Paralegal
Travel to courts, libraries and other destinations to obtain and review documents, records, etc.
Preparation of deposition and trial transcript summaries. Review, organize, and summarize case materials.
Assist in pre-trial investigations, trial preparation. Provide assistance at trial
Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, general correspondence, office and research memoranda, claim evaluation and status letters, motion papers and statements of fact.
QUALIFICATIONS â€" Asbestos / Toxic Tort Litigation Paralegal
- Must have at least 5 year! s experience as a Litigation paralegal.
- Must have rec! ent experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation
- ABA paralegal certificate preferred.
- Represents basic qualifications for Asbestos / Toxic Tort Litigation Paralegal position. To be considered for this position you must at least meet the basic qualifications.
