Post by Jobing - Payday Inc.’s Human Resource Consulting division is growing and we need another Human Resource Generalist to join our team in providing excell! ent services to our clients and each other. Responsibilities: •Develop, audit, recommend and prepare employment related policies, procedures, handbooks, job descriptions and employment practices •Advise clients on Federal, State and local employment law and regulation compliance •Management consultation and employee counseling in areas such as employee discipline, terminations and all other employee related issues •Conduct investigations for claims of harassment, discrimination and other employee issues •Create and assist with employee evaluation process •Assist with recruitment, selection, hiring and retention •Respond to inquiries from Unemployment, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, regulatory agencies and attorneys •Conduct salary surveys and assist with compensation and incentive programs •Facilitate training sessions •Regularly visit clients and exceed their expectations •Support our Human Resource Information System software implantation t! eam •Assist with the sales and marketing of HR consulting se! rvices (this is not an outside sales position) Education and Experience: •Must have PHR or SPHR •BA or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field •A minimum of 4 years of experience in Human ResourcesPhysical Requirements: •Office environment with Repetitive hand motions (typing) and sitting for long periods of time •Long periods of sitting, including driving and travelOther Requirements: •This position will be required to travel frequently throughout the Albuquerque area and to Santa Fe. Further travel may be required. A personal vehicle is required for local travel.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and remain insurable at all times. •Must be able to pass a preâ€"employment background check (no criminal record), Motor Vehicle check (no serious violations in past 7 years) and drug test •Is responsible for maintaining required certifications •This position is expected to possess and maintain current knowledge and understanding ! of laws, regulations, industry trends, current practices and new developments that are applicable to Human Resources •Professional dress is required
