We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant with ! experience in Civil Litigation for a local law firm in Albuquerque, NM. Seeking candidates that have a positive attitude, solid work ethic and the desire to succeed.
This position will support several attorneys at once and handle various types of civil cases. Duties will include: preparation of pleadings, typing and editing other legal documents. Maintain internal document filing system. Handle and complete daily correspondence and calendar management including scheduling of depositions and hearings. Receive, screen and transmit telephone calls, conference calls and messages to/from attorneys, clients and staff.
Job requirements:
2 to 3 years previous legal civil litigation experience required
Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Solid work ethic
E-filing
Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
Excellent proofreading and word processing abilities
Advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Typing 60+ WPM
