For detail informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. RCO Legal, P.S. is currently looking for a Bankruptcy Specialist for our Bellevue office.
RCO specializes in the representation of financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities and select businesses in all matters related to servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.
The Bankruptcy Specialist will be responsible for timely bankruptcy file set up and client service.
Duties:
File Set Up
Documents: request, follow up ! and pull from various client systems
Plan Reviews:! send to attorney, follow up for completed copy and send to client
Monitor and update various client systems (LPS, Clarifire, Quandis, and others)
General Clerical Duties: data entry, copying, filing, faxing, mailing, scanning, etc.
Request for Special Notice and Notice of Electronic Filing: draft, obtain executed copy from attorney/s and e-file
Draft various pleadings
Manage bankruptcy timelines and workflow processes on loans in bankruptcy in accordance with established work rules, goals & objectives
Review daily and weekly reports for exceptions and discrepancies
Ensure that all appropriate actions and corresponding documentation is added to the file and client system/s
Work closely with team lead to ensure all appropriate actions are taken to expedite files
Other duties as assigned by management
High school diploma or GED
Minimum one year office related e! xperience, preferably in busy legal setting within the mortgage banking or real estate fields
High proficiency with computers and technology
Familiarity with file processing
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to self direct
Experience working with a high volume case load
Experience working with attorneys preferred
Previous industry experience preferred
Experience working in computer systems and in a paperless office preferred
Ability to maintain records accurately, and prepare reports.
Ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively determine appropriate courses of action.
Ability to manage time and workload with consistent interruption.
Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills.
Must be highly organized and self motivated.
Paralegal certificate a plus!
High level of proficiency with computers, software includi! ng Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and! other technology. Ability to learn new technologies quickly
