Responsible for a group of high level risk bankrupt accounts and the application of Bankruptcy Code requirements to those accounts; provide periodic reports to management. May perform routine systems-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for high level account analysis based on Bankruptcy Code and general collection law requirements.
Assign accounts for repossession and/or other outside action based on pre-determined parameters.
Negotiate with attorneys, court personnel and/or debtors where permissible to ensure tha! t ACA’s interests are properly represented.
File appropr! iate documents/forms directly with court accurately and in a timely fashion.
May work or represent department on special projects.
Will be required to perform financial analysis on individual bankruptcy cases.
Help supervisor in tracking and identifying bankruptcy trends.
Responsible for analysis of company’s various portfolios relative to bankruptcy assets.
Responsible for the performance of a group of bankrupt accounts which require special handling and/or analysis including the filing of objections and applicable motions.
Qualifications:
4+ year’s financial industry experience, including 2+ years in bankruptcy.
Knowledge of Creditor/Debtor/Trustee relationship dynamics.
Proficient with PACER Court Filing System.
Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer or on the phone as required, for extended periods of time.
