BigMini now is looking to hire a senior accountant

***Joining: Immediately***

Position: Sr.Accountant

Location: Dubai Investment Park-1

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Salary: From AED 4000

Qualification: Degree and Language

M.Com/MBA Finance/CA / B.Com

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting. Master degree is an asset.

2. English as working language required.

Responsibilities:

To prepare ,check and verify payroll worksheet & timely submission and release of salary. End to end payroll of All staffs Including over time, incentive, other reimbursements, and deductions from the ledger.

Preparation of WPS report and submission for salary release.

Preparation of final settlement and knowledge of UAE Labour Law.

Preparation of financial statements.

Performing monthly Balance Sheet, Income Statement and changes in financial position.

Preparation of VAT filing and submission on time.

Preparation of scheduled for the Annual Audit.

  • Day to day accounting and payment processing for all corporate related expenses
  • Budgeting/ forecasting of corporate common cost and expenses
  • Control the corporate common cost and expenses and report the variance vs budget on monthly basis
  • Raising VAT invoice to allocate the cost, filling of VAT returns
  • Checking calculations for salaries, OT, Incentives, clearance of medical bills, closure of Full and Final Settlements for corporate employees
  • WPS checking against SIF files before bank upload
  • Facilitate statutory audit
  • Raising PO/ GRN /Payment for vendors
  • Inventory control/ Physical stock recording of inventories
  • Manage Petty cash
  • Monthly books closure, MIS reports and explanation of variance vs budget
  • Any adhoc reports required by management

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1) finance/accounting working experiences, from agency or consumer product industry. Electronics & Appliances background will be an added advantage.

2) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study

3) Minimum of 5+ years' of experience working in Accounting in UAE

4) Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Tally Software

5) Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills

6) Must be able to take initiative and work independently with guidance, but limited supervision.

7) Should be ready to work after the office timing and during the holiday if require.

8) We are looking to hire a single person ( Not married or family in home country) as we require full dedicated accountant

9) Should be familiar with purchasing , finding suppliers, negotiating skills, strong personality and team leading skills

Personal Traits

1. Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint, experience in ERP (Oracle & SAP) will be a plus.

2. Good work commitment and interpersonal skills.

3. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounting in UAE: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driving License (Required)
